This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit this site or buy Beyond the Screen, how we use it, and your rights. We keep this deliberately short and plain.
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the business:
This site and our checkout may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (like processing your order) and for measuring performance and advertising. In particular, we use the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel, which sets cookies and collects information about your visit (such as the pages you view and whether you purchase) so we can measure our ads and reach similar audiences. You can control or refuse cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage how Meta uses your data through your Facebook and Instagram ad-preference settings.
We keep order records for as long as required for tax, accounting, and refund purposes, and your email for as long as you remain a customer or subscriber. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (subject to records we're legally required to keep).
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you emails. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and we'll do our best to honour requests from customers in other regions (including the GDPR for EU/UK buyers). To make a request, email [email protected].
By buying or using Beyond the Screen, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're short.
Beyond the Screen is a digital product: a downloadable PDF book of 101 screen-free activities, plus the printable "4:47 Sheet" and the "Rainy-Day Quick-Start." It is delivered instantly by download after purchase. There is no physical product.
Payment is processed by Polar Software, Inc., our reseller and merchant of record. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay; applicable taxes are calculated and included by Polar at checkout. The charge is one-time — there is no subscription or recurring fee.
When you buy the book, we grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to download and use it for your own family/household use. You may print copies for your own use. Please don't resell, redistribute, or publicly share the files. The content remains the intellectual property of Polly Hayes.
The activities are offered as ideas for parents and carers. You know your own child best. You're responsible for supervising your child and choosing activities that are safe and age-appropriate for them. We provide the book "as is" and can't guarantee any particular outcome.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded. Subject to that, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. If the book isn't right for you, email [email protected] within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full. You don't need to return anything — it's a digital product. Refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Polar.
Questions about your order, your data, or these terms? Email [email protected] and a real person (that's Polly) will reply.
